Kareli Kairos is showing a line of clothes in this upcoming fashion show!  Get ready to see some exciting new fashion ideas and designs.  I have been sewing pretty much non-stop for weeks.  And for the first time ever, I made some menswear so; I am super excited to show off all the new designs I have been working so hard on.   Hope you can make it to the show!

All the participating designers are from the Reno area.  All proceeds made at the door and 10% of sales from each designer after the show is going to provide beds for the homeless at the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission. All canned food donations is going to feed the hungry through Evelyn Mount’s food pantry.

This is the first time I’ve used the “simulated process” silk screen printing technique to create a more detailed image.  I think it came out very well.  Based on the “Blue Lotus Woman” painting, this black shirt has a centered graphic on the front.  I also edited the image to remove the nudity, now she’s just almost exposed.  I thought nipples on a t-shirt might be a bit too much.  Constructed of 92% ring-spun combed cotton and 8% spandex, this jersey cap sleeve shirt has a comfortable, stretchy fit. She is the storm that rolls in from the west, covering the sky with a thick, grey, winter blanket.  Her winds swirl a dervish of prismatic flakes down through the heavens.  Cyrstalized water decorates our world, coats the ground, trims tree branches with icy lace.  She is the winter storm; feirce yet posessing that magical stillness that is only experiencened on a Winter’s night, as the snow quiets our world.   A sister of the moon, she is also able to cast the world in a pearly glow, and she dances in her delicate downpour, illuminated by the extraordinary light that only a snowy night posesses.  She is a winter storm, a snow dervish, dancing the cold skies of this earth.   For more information or to purchase, click HERE.

This shirt is based on the Oak Leaf woman painting.  I took the flying yellow finch from the bottom left and several strand of oakleaves from her hair to create the shirt graphic.

Available in juniors sizes medium – 3XL!  This this brown shirt has a large central graphic of sparrows and oak leaves gracefully intertwined, and a similar image on both bell-shaped sleeves. The image color is an off-white. This graphic is printed with a special ink that actually bleaches the image into the shirt so it will never fade or crack! I added 4 NEW 8X10 prints.  This means there are now 13 different images available.  Yeah! These four images weren’t previously available as an affordable matted print.  Orb Garden Mermaid is a new painting I finished earlier this year.  Fire Iris and Fey In A Leaf are older pieces I hadn’t reproduced in this format yet, and Bubble Garden has been available as a 5X7 until now.

I initally titled this piece “Pollen Faerie” because pollen is a kind of magical “dust of nature” that creates fruits and seeds and vegetable abundance.  This is what I think of when I think of pollen, and fat bumble bees in fragrant flowers on a summers day.  However, many people I talked to associate pollen with itchy eyes, sneezing, and feeling miserable, so I decided to change the title to: Faerie Dust.  She is on Display inside The Yogic Lounge in downtown Reno, 100 N. Arlington.  She is also on sale on my website.  I am making open edition 8X10 prints, and limited edition Giclee prints which will be on sale soon.  All will be available at the Faerieworlds festival (July 31-August 2) for sure.

Harmony was a great festival for Kareli Kairos! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and all the hard work of my crew.
